In AENY’s poignant IDENTITY video series, actors from ten different Spanish-speaking countries read poems that they felt responded to these questions:
Qué es identidad para ti? Qué te define? De qué manera se relaciona el poema contigo? / What does identity mean to you? What defines you? How does this poem relate to your identity?
The series was filmed inside the iconic Hispanic Society Museum & Library in New York City in December 2023 with generous support from The Consulate General of Spain in New York, and additional collaboration with the West Harlem Alliance.
